Aiming to become a type 2 city by 2025, Pho Yen is implementing green urban areas with a new lifestyle to meet the needs of its residents.
Pho Yen is a city under Thai Nguyen province, with the goal of becoming a type II city by 2025 and essentially meeting the criteria for a type I city by 2030.
From 2020 to the present, the city's annual economic growth rate has maintained over 20%, reaching an average GRDP per capita of 345 million VND by the end of 2022. The average income per capita is 120 million VND per person per year.
The industrial production value exceeds 843.940 trillion VND, with an average annual growth of 9.3%, accounting for over 92% of the total industrial production value in the entire province. The export turnover in the area reaches over 30 billion USD, constituting 97% of the total export value of Thai Nguyen province.
Not only invested in the industrial sector, Pho Yen also focuses on urban development and invests in commercial and service infrastructure. In the past year, nearly 8 trillion VND from the local budget and 4 trillion VND from the central budget have been poured into hundreds of projects in various fields to upgrade the urban landscape.
