Hanoi aims to complete the construction of four major hospitals at the city's gateways by 2025
The city has prioritized the early completion of these large general hospitals at the capital's entrances, targeting a bed capacity of 30-35 beds per 10,000 people by 2025.
Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Duong Duc Tuan, recently signed the implementation plan for Action Program No. 25 of the Hanoi Party Committee, which aligns with Resolution No. 06 of the Politburo.
Completion of 4 hospitals at the capital's gateways by 2025.
The plan outlines Hanoi's intention to renovate, upgrade, and invest in the construction of new hospitals. The primary goal is to prioritize the early completion of four large general hospitals at the city's gateways, achieving a bed capacity of 30-35 beds per 10,000 people by 2025.
Additionally, Hanoi plans to increase the total number of beds in healthcare facilities (specialized healthcare centers, multi-level general hospitals) to approximately 21,880 beds by 2025 and around 24,380 beds by 2030.
"The target is to strive for a ratio of hospital beds in urban healthcare facilities of 2.8 per 1,000 people by 2025, 3.2 by 2030, and a minimum of 15 doctors per 10,000 people. This is tied to the development of human resources to ensure operational efficiency upon completion of investments," as outlined in the plan.
Public passenger transport is expected to account for 30-35% by 2025.
Concerning urbanization rates, it is projected to reach around 60-62% by 2025 and 65-75% by 2030. By 2025, 100% of the district construction plans, satellite urban planning, functional zone planning, detailed planning for redevelopment areas, renovation of old residential areas, and urban development programs within the city's jurisdiction will be completed.
Hanoi also aims for the ratio of urban transportation land to urban construction land to reach 12-15% by 2025 and 15-20% by 2030. The percentage of public passenger transport is targeted at approximately 30-35% by 2025 and 45-50% by 2030.
Green space per capita in urban areas is expected to reach around 7.8-8.1 square meters per person by 2025 and 12-14 square meters per person by 2030.
The average floor area per person in urban areas is targeted to be 31 square meters per person by 2025 and 33 square meters per person by 2030.
