Job Description

Structural Analysis and Design:

• Calculate loads, stresses, and deformations of structural components.
• Select appropriate materials and construction methods.
• Design structural systems such as beams, columns, slabs, and foundations.
• Utilize specialized software for structural modeling and analysis.

Structural Evaluation and Assessment:

• Assess the load-bearing capacity of existing structures.
• Propose repair and strengthening solutions when necessary.

Design Documentation:

• Prepare detailed design drawings and calculation reports.
• Draft calculation reports and related technical documents as required.
• Ensure design documentation complies with current standards and regulations.

Coordination with Related Departments:

• Work closely with the Lead Structural Designer and relevant departments.
• Participate in technical meetings and discussions.

Design Quality Control:

• Review and verify design drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.

• Identify and resolve design errors and conflicts.

• Ensure design documentation meets investor requirements and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with the Lead Structural Designer in developing calculation databases for improved efficiency.

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Lead Structural Designer or the Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil and Industrial Engineering.
• Solid knowledge of structural mechanics, construction materials, and design standards.
• Ability to perform calculations, prepare technical documents, and develop project plans.
• Strong understanding of construction standards and technical regulations.
• Proficiency in English is an advantage.
• Proficient in specialized structural design software (SAP, ETABS, SAFE).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar position within a construction or architectural company.
• Strong ability to read drawings and perform quick, accurate calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to report and manage tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work under high pressure and handle a heavy workload.
• Strong planning and execution skills.
• Good data storage and management skills.
• Possession of a professional practice certificate is an advantage.
