Job Description

1. Design and Implementation:

• Propose optimal design solutions for transportation and infrastructure projects (site leveling, roads, bridges, culverts, drainage systems, etc.).
• Develop detailed design drawings, ensuring compliance with technical standards and legal regulations.
• Proficient in using specialized design software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).

2. Coordination:

• Collaborate with the Design Team Leader, Architects, Engineers from the Architecture Department, other departments, and external partners during the technical documentation process to ensure consistency across disciplines and adherence to current standards.

3. Technical Meetings:

• Attend technical meetings and present design solutions to clients.

4. Documentation and Guidelines:

• Work with the design team to draft design reports, technical guidelines, and maintenance procedures.

5. Design Quality Control:

• Review and verify design drawings to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Identify and resolve errors or conflicts in the design.
• Ensure the quality of design documents meets investor requirements and regulatory standards.

6. Design Verification:

• Participate in the verification of transportation and infrastructure design documents as requested by the Board of Directors.

7. Data Management:

• Develop calculation databases to support project work efficiently.

8. Construction Supervision and Issue Resolution:

• Monitor, adjust, and resolve structural issues related to transportation and infrastructure projects during construction.

9. Team and Collaboration Management:

• Manage work quality and progress of external collaborators.
• Assign tasks, provide guidance, and train design engineers.
• Evaluate team members' performance.
• Establish and maintain a professional and efficient work environment.

10. Other Duties:

• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Design Team Leader or Board of Directors.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Transportation and Infrastructure Engineering.
• Experience in designing transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Strong skills in calculations, technical documentation, and project planning.
• Thorough understanding of technical standards and regulations in the construction field.
• Proficient in English for work-related tasks and meetings.
• Highly proficient in specialized transportation and infrastructure design software. Knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar position in a construction or architectural company.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and perform quick, accurate calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills in handling information, reporting, and work management.
• Ability to work under high pressure and in a demanding work environment.
• Capable of planning and executing tasks effectively.
• Strong data storage and management skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Required Certificates:
  • Class II Professional Certificate in Transportation Project Design.
  • Class I Professional Certificate in Infrastructure Design for Water Supply & Drainage Systems.
